 Faye As An Artist

Well. I surprised everyone at the beginning of 2015, by suddenly painting the below pictures. Seemingly out of nowhere. Believe me. No-one was more surprised than me! I had spent over 30 years believing that I couldn't paint (could only draw), and that I couldn't paint people, let alone faces!

Here are some examples of my latest projects. The first few paintings are of a project I had been working on about unity and oneness depicting Indigenous People from Around the World. All my work is original and from my own head apart from the two Omo children which were based upon photographs by Hans Silvester (who kindly granted his permission to use them) and Bear Bull which is based on a photo by Edward Curtis, circa 1926.

I am open to discussions about commissioned work. All you need to do is send a photo of the subject or discuss what it is you would like done. The mediums I am currently using are pencil, charcoal, acrylics and pastels.

High quality prints and a couple of originals are available to buy . Please contact me if you see something you would like to purchase or wish to commission me to do something for you

Please note that all my work is held under copyright laws and none of it may be printed, copied, used or reproduced in any form without my express permission. Thank you.
